Deploying a market on Midas Chain requires locking MIDS — more for higher leverage, more for harder-to-price assets, more for a larger position cap. Slashable if the operator fails their obligations, returned on an orderly wind-down. This is the token's one structurally real demand sink and it is working, tested code.

Transaction fees on Midas Chain, priced in USD and charged in MIDS. Real, and small: at fractions of a cent per transaction it is rounding error rather than a demand story, and we will not present it as one.

Midium pays players in MIDS for the cards they answer. Note the direction: this distributes tokens rather than consuming them. It is a faucet, and counting it as demand would be dishonest.

Partner-programme releases accrue in USD and convert to MIDS when a holder claims. The largest single flow across the network — and, because it is settled in MIDS, the largest source of sell pressure. Both facts are in the whitepaper.

Retail trading fees are zero by design, so a fee discount cannot be the retail incentive. What staking can buy is maker rebates, API and colocation tiers, and a reduced listing bond for operators with a clean record.

Staking MIDS to launch a Predikon market is an idea, not a mechanism. Market creation today is admin-only and carries no bond. Listed here so nobody counts it twice.
Two of the six move tokens out and one moves them in, and the one that moves them in has never been deployed. That is the central open question about this token, and it is the first thing the whitepaper says rather than the last.
